Meet the artist
Mon Manabu
Mon Manabu has been a creative artist since 2006. Her work has developed from painting to photography to mix media and finally she has found her true passion in ceramics.
Clay gives her the opportunity to use her hands to create endless forms, adapting her painting and design skills to build sculptural bodies of work and functional homewares.
Mon’s work has always been influenced by Japanese Aesthetics. Wabi-Sabi caught her attention while studying the diploma in ceramics at Tafe.
She believes that the beauty found in the imperfection, asymmetry and irregularities, is what makes every piece unique with its own soul.

We have been present at the local markets until recently but with this new adventure of creating ceramics we have moved prints to this online platform. We will still do some markets, but only with ceramics. Stay tune checking out our blog and Instagram to now when is the next ceramics market.
